The Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) currently houses over 100,000 MOF-like frameworks, including 10,000 MOF crystal structures available for free for academic research. This one-hour virtual event – timed for our community members located in the Americas – will feature a 20-min talk by Dr Peyman Z. Moghadam followed by networking. 

 


 

We're excited to host Dr Moghadam, co-author of the paper Development of a Cambridge Structural Database Subset: A Collection of Metal-Organic Frameworks for Past, Present, and Future and the paper Targeted classification of metal-organic frameworks in the Cambridge structural database (CSD). The event will begin with Dr Moghadam presenting key findings from his work, highlighting applications of MOFs in areas like energy storage, catalysis and CO2 sequestering. It will then conclude with networking. CCDC Research and Application Scientist, Dr Jeff Lengyel will host the event. Come ready to learn and discuss the past, present and future of MOFs and share your insights during this interactive session!
