We are delighted to announce that the winner of this year's CCDC Chemical Crystallography Prize for Younger Scientists is Dr Mark Warren from Diamond Light Source.
Mark will give a prize lecture on his work at the upcoming BCA Spring Meeting in Nottingham (4th-7th April 2016) where he will also be presented with his prize.
Mark's research in the field of photocrystallography, including inventive application of Crystal Engineering concepts as well as development of experimental techniques and equipment, has enabled him to stand out as one of the most talented young crystallographers in the community.
This is really a fantastic prize for us to support - encouraging the next generation of structural scientists within the community. The standard of entries for the prize keeps getting higher each year and we are very pleased that a scientist of the calibre of Mark has won!
