Advancing Structural Science Together
The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC) is a self-funded UK charity.
Our mission is to advance structural science. We do so through;
- The curation and provision of trusted, FAIR data for scientific research
- The creation of software so scientists can easily access and use that data, and
- By supporting education in the chemical sciences.
We are financially self-supporting, raising money by the sale of our premium software, fully curated data, and consultancy services. However we continue to provide a range of software (including Free Mercury), data, and educational resources for free. Scientists around the world use all of these to advance their work.
If you would like to support our work, we welcome donations at the link below.

Access Structures
Our free, browser-based method to view and retrieve individual crystal structures from The Cambridge Structural Database (CSD). The world’s largest database of small-molecule organic and metal-organic crystal structures. Each originates from experimental data, and undergoes manual and automatic curation to make it easy to find, interpret, and use in individual or bulk analyses.
