Retirement of Relibase/Relibase+
Solution
As part of our longer-term strategy to provide leading edge software for our user community, the CCDC products Relibase and Relibase+ have been retired as of the end of 2018. This includes both the production of new data updates and the auto-update server.
Following consultation with our user community, some of the user-critical functionality from Relibase/Relibase+ has been embedded inside our CSD Python API and exposed through CSD-CrossMiner, the desktop tool for searching the CSD and the PDB simultaneously.
Consequently, we are now able to provide a better way for users to interact with both CSD and PDB data going forward and allow end users to integrate the searches and information into their own workflows in more flexible ways than Relibase/Relibase+ used to offer.
